Gary A. Penrod - Personal Credentials

Gary A. Penrod is the Managing Associate of GPA Inc, a successful building service industry consulting firm. He has a vast understanding of the industry on a global basis.

This understanding developed during 14 years as a building service contractor and during the years subsequent to his selling that firm to an international service group. He assisted that firm in acquiring other firms throughout the world. He founded GPA in 1988. It was launched as an industry specific consulting firm that very quickly evolved into a firm with specialty in providing intermediary services for those either selling or buying a firm and business advisory services for those engaged in the industry.

Penrod is a recognized author within the industry, having written articles for both Services and Contracting Profits, both industry publications. he is also a recognized speaker, internationally, having made presentations throughout the world through Building Service Contractors Association International and Fulcrum Information Services, Inc. He is one of the several recognized professionals in North America with specialty in building services industry mergers and acquisitions and market valuations. He is a former President of Building Services Contractors Association, International(BSCAI).

Penrod is qualified to provide market valuation of firms engaged in providing building services by virtue of his working in this field of endeavor on a full time basis since 1984 when his contracting company was acquired. His assessment have proven to be the basis of sound transactions whereby both the seller and buyer are completely satisfied with the outcome. He is prominent and well regarded because this expertise has weathered the test of time as evidenced by the many successful transactions done over the years that are still considered to be sound transactions when viewed in retrospect.
